landon john

With over 20 years of experience in construction, Landon combines deep industry knowledge with a passion for strengthening local communities.
Born and raised in Hope, BC, Landon grew up watching his mother, a member of the Chawathil First Nation, operate heavy equipment—an early and powerful example of skill and determination in the trades. Inspired by her work ethic, he is dedicated to employing and training local workers, ensuring the next generation of tradespeople thrives.
Following in the footsteps of his father, a member of the Seabird Island Band, Landon carries forward a strong work ethic and a commitment to making a lasting impact.
In 2021, he was recognized as one of Canadian Construction’s Top 40 Under 40 by On-Site Magazine, a testament to his leadership and dedication to the industry.

Dany brings over 20 years of hands-on leadership and project management expertise to INDIGEX Construction Ltd.
His career spans major infrastructure projects for Trans Mountain, Enbridge, and BC Hydro, where he’s led teams in high-stakes environments.
Dany doesn’t just oversee operations – he’s out in the field, ensuring every job gets done right. As he puts it, “I’m in a machine almost every day. I get the job done.”

Landon John is a proud Indigenous leader who has put in time, hard work, and dedication to get to where he is today as a general manager in the construction industry.
Starting his career as a labourer at 13 years old, John has progressed through multiple positions in construction, with professional achievements that include working on complex infrastructure projects for Ledcor Construction in Fort McMurray, Alta, and Kinder Morgan in Burnaby and Hope, B.C. Recognized for his natural leadership skills, John took on a pivotal role in 2016, where he had the opportunity to make massive contributions to Indigenous youth in local communities by creating meaningful employment and training opportunities within the construction industry.
Always prioritizing the health and safety of his team, John has achieved over 30 safety certifications, including Level 3 First Aid, NACE International CIP (Coating Inspector Program) Level 1 and 2, as well as Primary Care Paramedic and Emergency Medical Responder qualifications.
